Big Green Egg Large Dual Zone Deflector Kit

The Dual Zone Deflector Kit for the Big Green Egg Large combines a stainless steel carrier basket with two half-moon-shaped ceramic deflectors. It allows you to cook with direct and indirect heat at the same time and make use of different height levels.

The basket features integrated handles for easier insertion and removal of the assembly. This allows you to access the charcoal whilst cooking to add wood chips or adjust the settings.

Direct and indirect cooking set-up

Place the two ceramic deflectors on the lower level to create an indirect cooking zone. You can also use a single deflector to combine a direct zone – ideal for searing food – with an indirect zone for finishing off the cooking at a lower temperature.

Basket with integrated handles

The stainless steel frame keeps the components together and makes them easy to handle. The raised handles allow you to remove the basket and its accessories to access the charcoal.

Compatible with the Multi Level rack

The basket is designed to fit onto the 2-piece Multi Level rack (not included). This setup allows you to cook on multiple levels and maximise the available cooking space.

Compatible with half-moon accessories

The basket allows you to combine the deflectors with other Big Green Egg half-moon accessories, such as the stainless steel grids, the cast-iron grid, the reversible cast-iron griddle and the perforated grid.
