Cedar pairs best with seafood, but it is also excellent for flavouring vegetables, tofu, pork, chicken, and beef. The cooking process produces smoke and steam, which will keep your food moist and flavourful. Napoleon's cedar grill planks are wider than any other planks on the market. This means they are reusable. Simply pre-soak the untreated natural cedar planks in cold water for at least one hour before use to ensure consistent cooking and smoking. Then place the plank and food on a preheated grill. When the food is done, rinse the cedar grill plank thoroughly with water and scrape off any food residue. Stubborn residue can be cleaned with a steel sponge. Do not use soap. Allow the plank to dry completely before storing. The planks can be reused until they are approximately 50% charred. The cedar grill plank is excellent for experimental grillers and for impressing your guests. These hassle-free boards are easy to use and disposable.
